Kitty Needs New Home ASAP

Cottage Grove

We've been looking for a new home for Whimsy for a while now. She is very unhappy with our other cat and we really feel she'll be happiest in a home where she is the only pet. She is constantly being harassed by our other cat and is always hissing and growling at him. She is showing signs of not being happy at all. She isn't grooming herself as well as she usually does and seems extra needy around us. We had hoped that after our other cat was fixed and able to to outside that they would start getting along better, but sadly that has not happened. He just chases her outside too.

Now we're going to move in a couple weeks and I'm concerned about how having to be inside with him for several days will affect her. We feel the most fair thing for her is to find her a good new home where she'll be coddled and able still be an inside/outside cat. (She does not like using a cat box, she prefers to go outside to do her business). She currently has a large field to roam and catch mice in.

She is a very sweet cat and loves to sit on your lap and sleep at the foot of the bed with you.

This breaks my heart, but I really feel it's best for her to be truly happy.
